Still learning a lot every day I ride. A few questions:
1. Only went about 100 miles on a full tank of gas, maybe my choke was out too much using more gas than needed. Any idea of gas mileage on this bike? 40, 50 MPG?

It's developed a loud whir when it hits around 2500- 3000 rpm that goes away after that.  The sound almost overcomes that of the exhaust.  It's also there when I'm warming up the engine. We have a ride planned June 12-16th leaving from Kalamazoo, MI.  I haven't been on a ride this long in the past.  We have 27 riders for the trip, so should be a lot of fun.
