Hello Everyone.

we I defiinitely did something stupid today. I had some older than Ideal gas in the gas tank today. It hasn't yet turned to varnish but definitely smells bad. So I decided to use a syphon hose to get all the old gas out. This worked well except the hose was a tight fit. After pulling it out I noticed it scraped against a sharp part of the tank.

So .... I am left with a bunch of little bits of rubber hose in my gas tank.

My question is .... what is the best way to go about cleaning this out.

My plan was to take off my gas tank and wash it with some good fuel.

What is everyone's suggestions for cleaning up this mess.
