vulcan 900 vs shadow 1100 vs hd 1200 custom

Hello, new to this forum sorry if this has been covered(pretty sure it has) but i cant find anything. I'm gonna be in the market for a new bike and these three r my top three choices. I'll probably be buying used, just cant justify buying a new bike so i was wondering if anybody has any suggestions on what to choose. Most of my riding will be done single i'm 5'10" and 220 with the occasional two up the wife is around 180 or so, curious if the 900 has the power to handle that kind of weight. Going on looks alone i'd have to go with the sporty then vulcan. Price isnt really a factor since all three are pretty close used i know the sporty is a little more but not enough to bother me,and the shadow is third. Keep in mind i will be moving up form a vlx(600cc) to one of these and dont want to out grow it after a year or two. I would like something that is gonna be fun to ride most riding will be done to and from work mostly two lane short trips and occasional superslab. Thanks in advance.
