A motorcycle's fairings are designed to increase its aerodynamics, improving its ability to cut through the air. For the most part, the fairings are left undisturbed during routine motorcycle maintenance.Unscrew the bolts from the inner fairing panels, the panels that surround the front wheel, using an Allen wrench. Pull the inner fairing panels away from the motorcycle.
