I have a question. I have a 1985 Honda V30 Magna (VF500C) V4 engine. The fuel pump is toast, and my local Honda shop tells me they've "discontinued" those model fuel pumps. Now .....can anyone clue me in to "WHAT" might be a suitable replacement? I can't find ANY info on those year model pumps ANYWHERE online , or anywhere else for that matter . Does anyone have any idea how many PSI a suitable replacement pump would need to be ? It's got to feed 4 carbs , but I don't want to over-feed, or "flood" them ...so I have no idea where to buy , or WHAT to buy. I need some expert advice. Thanks in advance .

My 2007 Honda VT1100C2 (Sabre) has an external fuel pump that feeds the carbs. I expect that fuel pump would work just fine and still be available. Just about any fuel pump that can be set to only run about 3 to 5 psi should work. There used to be a lot of electric, low psi fuel pumps available, before cars went to fuel injection, so old car parts catalogs would be a good place to look also.
regards, Joe
