You're either riding a BMW already, or heading into the fold. Only other bike that I know people doing that kind of milage on is a Honda Gold Wing.

You don't read much about that kind of riding and reliability any more, but Harleys, Triumphs and MotoGuzzis were routinely treated that way too. I put over 265,000 miles on a Harley in 12 years. That was back in the days when they needed a ring and valve job every 40,000 miles, but it was an easy job to do in one afternoon.
regards, Joe

You really need to provide a little more information.... -What price point do you want to stay in? -Is this a lot of inner city riding or highway riding? -How big of a motor are you looking to get? -Are you more into a sport touring bike, touring, cruiser....etc?
Without any more information all you will get is a bunch of folks telling you to ride the same bike they ride because most people think the bike they are on is the greatest thing in the world. With what little I know about your needs right now, I could recommend a Suzuki C50T, or a Honda ST1300, or a Victory Vision....3 completely different bikes that do diferent things very well.
The more infor you provide the better advice you will receive.
