I left my ignition switch on draining my battery.  Although it was working fine until my mistake, I cannot get it to take a charge.  The electrical system is able to support the operation of the bike after it has been boost started.  Do I need a new battery?

Thanks

Yep, and riding it with a battery that won't take a charge will damage the voltage regulator, too.

regards,
Joe
