Are the rear shocks on the 2001 honda shadow sabre adjustable? There are several holes with labels on them from high to low. Can I lower this bike without spending 700.00 on new shocks?

Yes. Using a spanner wrench, rotate the outer sleve to change the spring preload setting. That will change the ride height. The lowest ride height is at 1, with the highest ride height at 5. The height may not change visibly when no one is on the bike, but it will be different when you sit on it to compress the springs.
