Harley or Victory

Hi Surreal,
I don't like to bad mouth Harley but if you look around, you'll find that the other manufacturers are building absolutely, beautiful V twin cruisers and they don't cost near as much as Harley Davidson or Victory. Buying into Harley is buying into lifestyle and you pay dearly to do so.
Take a look at the new Kawasaki Voyager or Nomad and see what you get for 13 to 17K. You'll be amazed at what they have done with the V twin.

test riding is a good way to decide.last year in august i test rode an 08 victory vision.this year in may i test rode an 09 HD road king and street bob.i was most impressed with the vision.but the road king and street bobs were nice also.alot of places are offering test rides.give it a ride around the block.kick the tires.theres alot of bikes looking for owners these days.dont be in a hurry to buy.good luck!!

Embarrassed to ride Vegas Jackpot 08 Took a quick ride into town to find a whole fleet of bikes at the local coffee shop. Rode on in and every head turned to take a gander at the bike. Jeez I hated that!
Ride is great, power is snappy and the rear tire (250mm) takes a bit to get used to. Other than that, sound bike.
