Hey guys, I would like to start off with and introduction. My name is Ryan and I have rode motorcycles my whole life. I love the thrill of the open road. I ride a Honda Shadow Areo 750 decked out with windshield, hard leather bags, and Cobra pipes.
Now I am in the market for a speaker system for my bike. I had one that I bought on ebay a couple of years ago that went out on me about a month ago. I am wanting the speakers that mount on my handle bars that I can hook up to my ipod. I know that helmet mounted speakers are the way to go but I don't always wear a helmet (I live in Arkansas), and when I go to a state that requires one I wear a half helmet. So does anybody have any suggestions for a good set or a place to start looking.
Thanks allot guys.

J&M has handlebar mounted speakers. Can't tell you quality, but, other J&M products that I bought have been good.

I purchased this stereo system on ebay for seventy buck. The speakers are marine grade and waterproof. Also the speakers are in chrome housings and mount on the handlebars. The powerboster which is included in the package has one hundred watts of power and it rocks my ipod. I even have a sony walkman that I plug in. The new kits come with a fm reciever built in the power booster and is kicked up to one hundred fifty watts of power. That kit sells for one hundred dollars. All on ebay. Took one hour to install and works fantastic.

Let's see, I've got 1800cc of power, It accelerates as fast as a 500cc sportbike, and turns as easy as a 500cc cruiser. It starts every tiime, runs all day. It gets an oil change every 3000 miles, tires every 15,000+ miles, and mods when I want them... not much else.
It also doesn't get the neighbors calling 911 when I start it up.
From my standpoint, that IS a real bike.
