Can a Metzeler ME880 210/50 17 fit my Stratoliner with no mods?

Yes, it will fit with no mods.  But tire life will probably be miserable, around 3000-4000 miles.  People on the Roadliner forum have tried them, and they do not hold up well at all on the liners.
