I have a Honda Magna 1984 VF700C that the wiring harnes/connector was cut off and each of the four wires were connected individually to the relay and each wire was wrapped in electrical tape and then all the wires were wrapped again in electrical tape. WHen I took off the relay one of the posts broke and I unwrapped each wire but did not note which color wire goes to each post on the 4 post relay for the Fuel cut off relay.
I need someone who has this motorcycle to tell me from top left to right top post to bottom left post and right bottom post which colored wire goes to which one. I have checked my clymers manual no reference and the wiring diagrams in the back do not give a specific post per the orientation of the posts on the relay, probabally because it was a moulded connector I am guessing.
I believe the only way I can find out is if someone who has one of these bikes to tell me. THe color of my wires I have are Black, Green, Yellow and Yellow black. I have called a couple honda dealers and repair shops and they could not get me this info and I searched the net many times and still no luck. I dont want to pay a honda dealer money just so her can track one of these biked down and find out for me ad charge me big bucks. Plus I have the part order.
Any help would be very appreciated.

I have the exact same problem. My relay's molded plug was all melted and destoried and when I messed with it, the wires broke so I could not tell what went where. I was actaully planning to buy a used wiring harness so I could replace the molded plug or the alternative was I wold just get rid of the relay and jumper the power through. Not a big fan of the jumpering but I don't think it causes any problems with the normal operation of the bike. I think this relay is just a saftey precaution.
If I go the wiring harness route I will let you know where the wires go when I get the harness.
