I've got a 2006 Stratoliner S - Great Bike. But after about 25-30 miles, my arms and back get to aching because I am pretty stretched out on it unless I sit well forward.  Does anyone know of a "riser" product that will work for sure to move the handlebars back about an inch or so.
I don't know if the risers will have to be Model Specific or not.  Thanks for any help.

Newton,
I have on 07 Stratoliner and had the same issue.I purchased risers from Barons.I think mine are a 1" rise and 2.25" pullback (which is the most important part). These are not cheap ($200 +)but they match the chrome everything on the S ,they look stock. I know the are many other brands and I doubt they all look this good with this amount of pullback. It made all the difference in the world for me and I've been on several long trips with days of 8-12 hours of riding a day with no problem

I bought the Baron's pull backs. They look great and they make the ride a lot more comfortable. They are easy to install too. A little pricey though ($200 +).

I too own a 2006 Stratoliner. At 5'6" tall, I have a rather short reach and the bars were giving me a neack and should ache after long rides. I installed the risers from Barons as the others have and it has healped tremendously.

After contemplating at length over the riser vs Flanders handlebars as a fix for this issue,I decided that the $250.00-273.00 is worth it for the bars. They are 3" narrower and have 3-1/2" more pullback..Another issue was slow turns lock to lock, stretching the outside arm to its limits..The narrower bar should help this, and uses stock cables.
Btw,I'm new to this forum, seems like a good one..My other ride is a mildly customised 1998 Vmax.i'm a retired Navy aircraft tech, and do mostly my own repairs,mainteance..Currently have an 07 Busa turbo engine in middle of overhaul..Cheers,randy

The Barons risers should definitely help your posture which it sounds like you need some help with.  You'll for sure want to do something about it because if you're not comfortable riding, you're not going to want to ride at all.  Poor posture could lead to other problems like back problems.  I've dealt with back problems from poor posture and it isn't fun.  Good luck!
