Although I am a fan of the big, custom-cruisers, with large luggage and fat styling, I have to admit that this model it is something really different!Some...awesome!

I really like the design of the Honda fury!
At first, when you see the bike you think that has an air cooled engine...

But this is what i like most. The engine 1300VTWIN is linquid-cooled, and the..cooling system is hidden and you believe that you see a tranditional air-cooled engine!!

Also it is the first honda's engine in our favorite...chrome category, fuel injected!!!

What i like also is that has belt transimision and you can order the fury with..ABS.Finally TRANDITIONAL LOOK WITH SOME TECHNOLOGY!!!

Maybe I hide a chopperrider inside me...But still I like more..the fat...(not woman) full chromed custom-cruiser bikes!!!

I expect that Honda is going to put this fuel injected engine, with abs in the 2010 VTX 1300 model!

I've never spent any money on a 'bar bike', but I freely admit it is a pretty one. The first pics I saw were the black & grey version, on a site called likeleathermagazine or something like that. At first, I thought it used the wheels off a 1981 Sturgis, but then I saw the slight difference in the spokes.

Joe

It has shaft drive.  Not something you'd expect to see in a design like this one.

Yeah, most bikes that look like this are built by backyard mechanics using stolen parts. Shaft drives are a little too complicated for them :-)

yeah, it looks great but if you ever ride more than 40 mph you need a sheild and it wont look good with a full screen so its a stupid bike for stupid people!!!

I don't have a windshield & I ride on the highway over 60 mph all the time, no big deal. This bike is supposed to be a Chopper, it's not made for comfort.

You need a shield to ride a bike over 40 M.P.H.?

Since when?  I've had my M109R on the top end of 120 M.P.H. with no shield with no problem.  I constantly ride in the upper double digits with no worries.

Back on topic, I don't much like choppers, but I have a friend who is into them and I can't wait to check this one out.  I do like the fact that there is finally a chopper with the fit & finish that Honda puts into their bikes.

I will agree with guscave and ctatyk..Of course you don't need a wind shield to ride a bike more than 40 mph...

I've got a Shadow 750 and I also change my bike with my father's bike (Valkyrie 1520cc)

Both bikes don't have a wind shield...and believe me i ride more than 40mph with no problem at all...Especially with the Valkyrie..I rode with 205kph (about 130mph) and the only problem was that my fuel tank got empty in a few..miles!!!!

Yeah, 6 cylinders'll do that to you. You can buy a 2 cylinder bike that'll do 130 easily and on lots less gas, but it's not nearly as much fun getting up to speed :-)

Don't worry about it, renshawlc. Most of us recognise the symptoms displayed by someone who is socially retarded. After all, most of us have the same problem, just not as bad as you have it :-)
