I am putting a progressive suspension on my Honda 1100 Spirit.  It will lower the rear about 1.5 inches and I am wondering what to do with the front.  Do I want to lower it too or replace it with the stock length progressive spring.  I'm changing both front and rear suspension regardless.  Any help is appreciated.

You should install the progressive springs with their lowering kit.  The front and rear should be balanced.  If you don't the front will have a more "raked" effect and slightly slow the steering.
