I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to eliminate the carb and choke and replace it with an electronic fuel injection system on a 2002 Yamaha V Star 1100?  

Hi,  I understand your desire to update the motorcycle but it is not worth the expense and trouble of converting a carbureted bike to a fuel injected bike.  The parts list is daunting and pricey: throttle bodies, injector system, fuel pump, ECU, different throttle cables, etc.  And, you'll probably also need to change the cam timing and maybe even the cam profiles.  It's best to leave it as is.  Unless you really want to do it.
