I just got a 2001 VZ800, that was modified to forward controls. For most people this might be a great upgrade, but since I am 5 foot tall, it is not so good for me. Bottom line is I want to put it all back to stock, and have no idea where to get the assembly. Seems all the parts warehouses, sell it all seperate. Would love to be able to buy it from someone who also upgraded to forward controls, but I am having no luck. Any suggestions?
BTW I have already searched Ebay, that was a no go. Thanks

An excellent source for restoring stock parts to your bike, would be the forums dedicated to riders of that bike. The people on those forums will be shoving OEM parts in the closet or even throwing them away, as they customize their bikes.
You might start out by putting "suzuki marauder forum" into google, then looking at some of the results to see which are actually currently used forums.

HI; GO to Volusia riders.com. There you will be able to sell you forward controls but just maybe get the stock stuff for free.. Maybe just make a trade. It is a very good site with lots of information about Volusia's and C50,s...scruffy

I agree with Scruffy... That forum is a good one lots of good people on there.. You would probably find some riders that would be willing to trade you even up, or even give alittle cash with the trade. I'm a member on that forum too go by MightyMutt there too. I would take you up on the forwards, but I got flamed floorboards on mine.. Besides I don't think they would work on mine..

Another good source is the local motorcycle salvage yard. The parts should be 50% or less of what they'd cost new. Then again, new is probably the easiest route to go if the parts are even still available.
With Ebay, searching once isn't always enough. Save your search and check the box that has Ebay automatically email you if anything is listed. It will do this for up to 6 months, I think.
