I looking for a cruiser.  I first looked at the yamaha raider and now looking at the victory vegas.  Can someone give me their opine on these bikes?  Since the Vegas is comparable in cost to a Harley should I look at these bikes?  

i have a 04 vegas. about to turn 47,000 miles without any problems at all. i love the power, the way it handles and of course the looks. if you look around you can get great deals on new 07,s and possibly 06's. they may be comparable to harley in costs (new) but the vic dealers will deal will you. plus you'll have to stick a ton of money into a harley to come close to the way a victory runs. of course this is just my opinion, what it all boils down to is what YOU like. ride them all and get what ya love....
