I just purchased a 1984 Honda V65, and there is a rattle inside the muffler.  Does anyone have an idea of how to fix the problem?  

my brother had one of these i think he eventually got tired of trying to fix the problem and bought a new one. There is a heat displacing cage in the muffler thatover time welds break on and so its starts to rattle. He tried everything to remedy the prob even took the muffler off the silencers out and tryied to get at it that way... Thats about as best as i can tell you
