I'm the new owner or an 01 Suzuki Marauder 800. I'm the third owner and the bike is in great shape with 2600 miles on the clock. It came with an aftermarket (Cobra) exhaust. My problem/question is that there too loud for my taste. Any recomendations for a reasonable, quiet system? Thanks for any and all help.

If you like quiet, you have two choices, restore the stock exhaust or modify the stock exhaust from some other bike to fit your bike.
The market for quiet motorcycle exhausts doesn't exist, so no one makes quiet aftermarket exhaust systems.
If you look up a Marauder forum, you can probably find a stock system pretty cheap from someone who changed theirs.

HI FIRE DOG; If you want louder exhaust. Try removing the baffels from the stock exhaust. It worked for Me. I took a 1" and a 3" hole saw and went to sawing the baffels out sounds good. Only took about 2 hrs. I didn't damage the chrome on the pipes. There are 4 baffels inside the pipes. I removed one at atime untill I got the sound I liked. I removed 3.. It was cheeper than $400-600 for pipes..Good luck with your pipe selection... scruffy..
