I just purchased a Mustang Seat for my 2006 Victory Kingpin. I had baught the mustang because of all the great reviews. I have road my bike twice since putting the new seat on and so far my impression is not good. I feel like I sit about 3-4 inch taller, and it tilts me a little forward sliding me towards my tank. I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience or I've been telling myself to give it more time. Problem is I dont want to get stuck with a $600 seat i don't like. Feedback would be great.

the mustang will sit you up and and foward. but otherwise it is a one of the best seats i have ever used. if you decide to get rid of it try a corbin, it will sit you back a little further. i'm not sure but you might call mustang and ask if there is anything they can do for ya. i hear they have great customer service. good luck.
if the house is a rocking don't bother knocking, just come on in...SRV

It felt a little strange on my Shadow at first, but after a few miles it feels great.

I Just put a Mustang seat on my Honda VT 750 and life couldn't be better. My tush thanks me every day. I had the bike for 3 month and have 4K on it. The first 2K I was ready to call it quits. The stock seat was painful after about 50 miles. I road 300 miles on the Mustang and was fine. Contact Mustang and see if they can help. Tell them Pauly sent you.

That's not good. I'd be sick if I paid that much and wasn't thrilled with it. Does anyone have a mustang on their Vulcan 900 Classic?

I had the same feeling when I first installed mine but I have settled in rather nicely and it is so much more comfortable then the stock seat. I purchased my mustang seat prior to a trip thru wine country in northern california. the trip was the most comfortable 1100 miles ive done on a bike, I definitely could not have done it with the stock seat.

Guys--Do yourself a huge favor and check out meancitycycles.com. Allen makes the most comfortable seat you can buy and at a fraction of the cost of Mustang and Corbin. He can lower and move you back. Each seat is custom made using your frame. I have a Honda vtx1300R, and you won't believe what he did for the passenger seat. My wife is thrilled! He takes your inseam, etc. to personally fit you. Let me know what you think, after checking him out.

I have a mustang seat on my kingpin also. It moved me up and back and dosent tilt forward, so your experiance is differant from mine. I like the seat alot, a huge improvement over the stock seat.
