Iron Thunder Cycles is not the one who did the paint or seat on this bike...Earps upholstery in Raleigh did the seat.kevin Warren the owner of the Rune was taken to the upholstery shop for a 1 on 1 with Matt the owner of Earps. "The bike sat in his shop for a month untouched for the first seat"..He was expected to re do the 1st seat as it was not to the owners specs..and he was to build a custom touring seat also..nether was done....at the same time the owner of the bike Keven Warren was having Jimmy G a custom painter here in Raleigh paint his wheels...Iron thunder pulled the wheels off the bike and Jimmy G and the owner decided what to do to them...Iron Thunder Was out of the loop on both jobs...The original build called for a custom rear fender with a trunk so the owner could put a shirt and a pair of jeans in it for a week end trip..Into the build he asked if the trunk could be made larger . I said at this point we are to far into the build to change it with out starting over....Keep in mind photos were sent of every step of the build..He also met with the powder coater and picked out a color for his wheels to done in...They were done to his spec....Iron Thunder just took him to the place and he picked the color...which later on after Myrtle beach he decided he did not like...So he asked Jimmy G the painter to paint them to match his bike and take his stock valve covers and and ribs to  them to make them look like old style valve covers...Jimmy did this and they looked good....Really good...Yes there was some mis-matched hardware on the bike but do to the fact that the bike was gone for a month we had no time to replace them.Kevin said not to worry he would take care of it. ..Kevin came and picked the bike up the next day after we got it back from the upholster...As for the radiator we never removed it or took bolts out...The bike had bbe dropped over on the right side before we got it and had some damage done to the crash bar and motor mount..I the owner of Iron Thunder offered to refund him for the 1st seat even tho is was not our fault...Keven made Many,Many,Many changes in the middle of the build....After it was 75% done....You can not do this...He took it upon him self to have his wheels re-done because he did not like the black that he picked out the 1st time...I did not talk to the painter I did not know what they were doing at all...As for the frame it was painted with a black  paint..Stock was silver he wanted all visible areas black....That was done....TO TOP IT ALL OFF KEVIN WARREN NEVER PAID HIS BILL TO THE PAINTER/FABRICATOR OR IRON THUNDER CYCLES...FOR ALL THE EXTRA WORK AND HOOP JUMPING THAT WAS DONE AFTER THE BUILD WAS DONE. Yes I think the wheels looked bad...They had  paint over powder coating on them and that is what you get...I was not in charge of this build if I was it would not have come out like it did...Ask any of our customers and they will tell you Iron Thunder Cycles does great work and they care about there work...Its owners like this that make our job hard sometimes...But you know what I still love building bikes..We would not be in the Barber Museum if we built junk..
