I have a friend that has this sublimation printing equipment. It can put pictures and graphics in Mugs, Tiles, Shirts and a host of other things. He could not seem to get enough business. I do photography and graphics and ride a VT750. I have put my bike on a mug and some people asked if I could do the same for them (no, they want their bike on it not mine). The equipment is a little pricey. Sooo, I would like to pole riders to see if their would be any interest in this. This is just a survey. Would you buy a mug and how much would you think it should cost. Thanks for any input

About 5 years ago, I had a picture transfered to a mug. It cost about $9.00. It was a present, and worth it.
But, I'd say, $9 is top end.

I wouldn't be interested in that kind of stuff. I probably took a picture of my 1981 FXB, the only new Harley I ever bought, but that was 8 bikes ago. I know I haven't taken any pictures of the last 4 bikes.
regards, Joe

Yes, I would be interested in having a picture of my bike on a mug. $10 sounds about right. It would be nice to be able to send a picture in an email and receive the mug in the mail.

First, please don't pole us. It hurts. But feel free to poll us...
Second, there are companies on the Internet that do this -- print anything you want -- on mugs, t-shirts, etc. They bulk discounts on materials, supplies and shipping that you'd need to compete against. So if the equipment is expensive, then you better be sure you want to run a business to try to make back your costs. Do you think you'll do better than your friend did?

OK, I’m convinced that their not enough interest in the mug thing and that no one is willing to pay a price that will turn a profit. Thanks to all those who took part in my little poll. I'll pass on the equipment.
