Just turned 2000 miles on my 08 vn900c going from Portland,Or. to the coast with my wife.  Our first long ride since we got. Wow going over the coast range and through the  twisties even with a passenger I was impressed. Lots of torque pulling out of the corners eve n at 60mph.  And to top it off, we topped of the tank in Tillamonk (the cheeze town) and got 56 MPG.  Love the bike but need to get the seat from the Classic, it has more cush 4 the wife's tush.  Oh if you get the Cobra Speedster Slashdown or that style, go up one on the rear spring setting if you have a partner on the torque coming out of a right hander I drug the pipes from time to time.
