I've been screwing around with getting a new bike for over 20 years. In that time I laid down a Honda, nearly lost my daughter to some ****head on a crotch rocket, and found out how brittle my wife was when I picked her up to hug her and broke two of her ribs. Gotta say, that hurt ME too! Well, it's taken 20 years, but Tueday, I'm back in the saddle. My wife ain't going, my daughter thinks I'm the only one she'll ever ride with, and all the pretty girls I know gasp in horror (and then smile when I tell them I got a bike). But I bought this for me, for my 58th birtday. A Kaw Vulcan Classic 900 (logical). 07 Black with a lot of chrome, and 460 miles. My Black Kaw. She's a pretty thing and I'm gonna make her my mistress.

LOL I bought a new Sabre to replace my 4 year old Vulcan. Picked it up on the 11th, because the shop wasn't going to be open on my birthday, the 13th.
Happy Birthday, drivenrhythm

HI: I did much the same thing.Jumped back in the saddle after 15 years. I got a C50T black. It is been great. If Kaw had made the 900 then I would have bought it. I have 18000 miles and been having a blast. I took a year to get back in to riding went slow and easy. It all came back. I don't have any trouble riding with the guys that have larger bikes. Most think that it's a 1000 or larger. I ride 2up now and then and have had no problem getting up to speed or maintaining speed.. The bike handles very well. Have fun with your new 900 Kaw. I found out that the chrome never stops coming in.. Ride safe...scruffy
