Need some help? I am 48yrs. old and recently rode a friends bike. First time since my twenties when I did own several bikes. This ride gave me the itch to ride again. My friends bike had a rear 250 tire which I see on alot of todays bikes. Didn't like the way it handled in turns and cornering. Is it just me or is it that much handling you give up with those "fat" reat tires? Felt like the rear is fighting you in a turn or corner? Is it something you get used to? Like to buy a Victory or Harley but not so sure with those wide rear tires. I see the new V-Max has only a 200 rear tire, would this be a better fit for me?
PS: Sorry for the long post but I want to get it right when I buy. Thanks for any sugg.

you get used to the rear tire pretty fast. if the fatty rear isn't you thing. both Victory and harley offer bikes with smaller rears........
if the house is a rocking don't bother knocking, just come on in...SRV
