I havent had a bike for a few years but still ride on occasion. Last week i went to the dealer to see the honda vtx1300 however i fell in love with the yamaha raider S.  DO you think this is too much bike for me right now. im 6'0 about 240lbs and have experience only on sportbikes previously any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks  

If the Raider S is the bike you want and you have experience riding and respect for the power, then go for it....just take it slow at first and don't do anything crazy until you get the feel for the bike.  

coming from sport bikes you wont have any problems with power, there all slow compared to 600cc and up sport bikes made over the last 20 years,what you will have to get used to is size and weight. I had a Z750s before my kingpin, when I switched I felt like I was piloting a train.
