i,m a new rider. have a 1989 yamaha 250 route 66 edition. have rode it for a month or month and a half.  headlight worked i know right after i got it. seen it on at night and checked the high and low beams. it for the most time won't come on when i turn the key on or start it. i checked the light and the wiring. applied some extra tape to some wires, but didn't find any broken wires. i don't have an owners manual. we came back from vacation the other day i started it and moved it and the light was on. now again it won't come on. the parking and turn signal lights work fine. anybody have an idea. thanks.
