Hello All, Has anyone ordered anything from The Helmet Source? tomorrow will be four weeks since I've placed my order and I haven't been able to get any information from them as to the status. I've tried calling every number they provide and always get voice mail and, if you can believe it, the mail boxes are always full! No reply to my emails.....just terrible to deal with. They are a sponser of this site...does anyone know how to get in touch with these people??? Has anyone had a better experience? Thanks! Old Dog

I'd check out Motodirect.com, I placed an order for a rainsuit and it shipped the same day. They have some of the best prices I have seen on the Web. Skid lids start at 27.00 DOT approved and they gfo all the way up to 600.00.

I called their number for taking orders and someone finally answered. I was put through to a customer service rep who told me their computers were down and she would call me back shortly. That was yesterday afternoon and, of course, she hasn't called back. HTH, Another great source is Leatherup.com. I ordered a jacket, gloves and a helmet from them. They kept me posted on where the was and everything shipped quickly. I'm going to try to cancel my order with The Helmet Source if I can't get an answer today. (Although it may take another three weeks to actually speak with a real person.)I'll let you know how I make out.

Thanks HD-Rider. I'll check them out. Guess The Helmet Source doesn't get a lot of repeat business. They did finally respond to a nasty email I send and finally told me the boots I ordered were discontinued. I cancelled the gloves and ordered boots from Leatherup.com. I'm tracking them now and they are scheduled to be here no later than Thursday. It'll be nice not to have to use my work boots. Ya'll be safe now! Olddog313

I returned an order to THS over two months ago. I received one email telling me that my exchange will be processed in the order it was received. I cannot get a response by email or by phone. I think I got RIPPED OFF! I wish someone can tell me how to get through to these people. Any suggestions?

I had a very good experience with The Helmet Source I ordered a Fieldsheer jacket and received it in approximmately 4-5 days. They sent me a tracking number and responded immediately to my e-mails. This was back around July 17th. I don't have a last name but Jim replied to my e-mail and the e-mail address is thehelmets@sbcglobal.net I am sorry that you have had such a bad experience but looking at some of the other posts maybe I just got lucky. I don't have any other info for the company but you may have to contact the better business bureau. They should have a listing for the company and will notify them if there is a complaint. Also if you paid with a credit card they will also go to bat on your behalf. Companies tend to respond faster if they are pressured by someone who can control their ability to have an on-line based business. I hope you get this resolved.

A helmet is a form of protective gear worn on the head to protect it from injuries, a variation of the hat. The oldest use of helmets was by Ancient Greek soldiers, who wore thick leather or bronze helmets to protect the head from sword blows and arrows. In the 2000s, soldiers still wear helmets, now often made from Kevlar rather than metal, to protect the head from bullets and shell fragments. ===================================================== Harry Our mission is to provide high quality end to end solutions to the BPO segment in a manner that will improve the operational efficiency while reducing the cost of the services to the client. 4thdimension1@gmail.com
