I am 55 years old, 5"1" weigh around 125lbs. and go to the gym regularly. I used to ride back when i was much younger (honda 250). Recently I rode a Kymco scooter 200cc for a month. I was too short for it so it was difficult to keep it up when stopped. It did fall over a couple of times and I was able to pick it up (256 lbs). The center of gravity on the scooter was weird. I have now bought me a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit vt750c2. It has a good feel when I sit on it or push it backwards with my legs. I am taking the safety course this coming weekend before I take it on the road. I know it is a little late, but do you think I will be ok handling that much weight? I know a couple of women my size that can.

Check out http://www.nebcom.com/noemi/moto/sbl.sbl.html
It gives detailed info for "height challenged" riders.
Good luck JS
