My son is in Iraq.He has a 2005 honda shadow 750.His younger brother started the bike up,and decided to check the oil.Part of the dipstick broke off inside.Im a single mother hoping to be able to fix this before he comes home,which God willing will be soon.Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? If the dipstick is made of metal you may be able to use
a small magnetic tool to remove the broken off piece from the engine block. If it made out of plastic then you could use a mechanics retrieval tool(has 4 or 5 fingers) that can grip the piece of dipstick that is broken off and remove it.
