I have found a guy that wants to trade his 2003 Yamaha V-star with 17k miles on it for my honda. My question is...since i'm new to motorcycles...is 17k miles low, average or to high for a used bike? Any other advice about the Yamaha V-Star?

That is nothing, I talked to a guy last year that has a 1999 Kawasaki Drifter with 224,000 on it. he is retired and just rides back and forth to and fro east to west. He swears that he has only replaced the plugs. oil. tires and one set of pipes. Wag Out.
