I just bought this bike a week ago. Does anyone know if the seat comes off easily like on my other bikes? I always had to remove the seat for the tools and battery, or are the tools and battery located on the side, behind a cover.  

I assume that you don't have a manual.

I have a Shadow Aero, which looks similar, and the seat gets removed in 1 minute (3 bolts - 1 on each side and 1 in the back). The battery is under the seat. Tools and manual on the left side under the cover.
