Apparently they did. Their 08 brochure doesn't show that model being offered. There are plenty of used ones available for good prices. People buy them, then shortly want to trade up to larger bikes. I have a 97 VLX and I like it for urban driving. Eventually, if I start doing longer distance touring, I'll trade up too.
