I have an 83 Magna V45. All last year the clutch was really soft - but it worked. I went to get it out this year, and it doesn't work. I rebuilt the master cylinder, and get no air after bleeding. The lever is still soft (but better due to the new spring in the master cylinder) and it will not disengage. I have also changed the engine oil, as that is what lubes the clutch. I think the problem might be in the slave cylinder seal. Does anyone have any experience with this kind of thing? I don't think the clutch is frozen, because I think the lever would still get stiff due to the fact that the slave cylinder would not move. Please HELP !!
