Can anybody suggest a way to remove the emblem on a VStar 1100 custom. Mine tipped over and is all scratched up. Luckily that's the only damage done. I think the tank will look nice without the plastic on the side.  

Use a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive holding it on then slowly remove it. Then use something like goo-gone to remove any remaining adhesive.
