I AM PURCHASING A NEW 2007 1600 NOMAD. THE DEALER SAYS THE BIKE HAS CALIFORNIA EMMISIONS. CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN HOW THAT CHANGES THE BIKE. DOES IT AFFECT PERFORMANCE AND COULD THERE BE ADDITIONAL MAINTENANCE DOWN THE ROAD. ANY INFO IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

The bike is made to run with the stuff, you could eventually remove it all. check out this site for lots o' info on these bikes..... http://www.vroc.org/ there are plenty of people who know tons of stuff about these bikes....
