Just bought an '82 Virago 750 that needs some tlc. I have a bad plug wire, so I thought I would change them both. Can anyone tell me the right way to remove the fuel tank? Clymers isn't real clear on it. Thanks.  

HI; Remove the seat. Then remove the bolt that mounts the tank. Slide the tank back while lifting up. It is easier when the tank is empty. Be careful watch the fuel lines. Then you will have better access to the plugs.. scruffy...
