I was going to get the Cobra Highway Bar for my C50T but some are saying to get something else because they look like they will be the first thing to hit in a sharp corner.
Do any of you have these on your bike and do they hit first?

FYI, I have a 2005 C50T with a Cobra VL800 Freeway Bar added. I'm not an aggressive rider, but I have dragged the pegs twice in a corner at a speed that was a liitle faster than I should have been going (I'm 66 and this is my first bike). The Cobra bars did not touch the ground during this maneuver. My limited experience would suggest that your concern is unwarranted. Cheers from the Okanagan Valley of British Columbia.

Hi: I have 05 C50T. I have had the cobras on for about a year.I scrap the little (road sencors-suzuki) the nubbins on the bottom of the floor boards. I have yet to hit the bars. They do set out there a ways. I have mounted some fog lites on them and folding switch blade foot pegs. The give you another place to put your feet. I have only hit the bar when I was in a parking lot.I hit the speed bump while turning around. I like to lay the bike over when I turn. The wife thinks I'm In normal driving you should not have any problems. I just like to hear the floor boards scrapping in a turn. Most the guys I ride with think I have crashed every time they hear the metal to road noise... scruffy.. Riding sence 64
