have just bought Triumph Rocket 3 2007
i am finding the gear change a little clunky was told by the dealer that that was normal,just wondering if any one else has similar problems or can advise me.What sort of fuel consumption do you get from these bikes. was told 6 litres per 100klm which i dont seem to be getting.

YES IT IS TRUE. I JUST bought a new one, and the first 100
or 200 miles, before reaching the 500 hundred miles are some kind of clunky, but after easing to break-in, it will feel better. Or course, you still going to hear that
clunk when shifting, but it will ease.
It is not that motorcycle that you get a lot of miles
by gallon, but in hight way it does better.

Shifting is rather "spotty" at times, I have found that you ease into the gears, that it is less of a problem. Working your visual with the tach helps.

Mine is an 05, and it gets about 135 miles before the light comes on, and believe me, you better not try to run it for another 35-40 miles, or you will go dry.

Luckily, I was in a Wal-Mart parking lot that had a gas station, and I had to roll right up to the pump.

Would be nice if Triumph would put a fuel gauging system on the bike or have an up-grade.

I do enjoy the bike, it gets stares at every stop sign and traffic light.
