Waiting on delivery of my new Raider, hopefully this week.  What an great ride!  Trading in my 2001 Roadstar couldn't believe the difference in power.  Only change I would like to make is a side mount license plate, don't really like that my tag will cover up that nice fat rear tire.  Not a big fan of turn signals either.  If anyone knows of a side mount plate that will fit let me know.  

Congrats on the new Raider.I got mine the Saturday after Thanksgiving.This thing is awesome!I suggest getting the three year prepaid maintenance with it.I just had my 600 mile service done.It cost me $140.I was told by the dealer that the next couple of scheduled services will run about $250 to $350.The prepaid maint.plan costs about $950.Its well worth the money and after the three years you can buy it again.

No.The Y.E.S.program is the extended warranty Yamaha offers.Definetely get that as well.It extends your factory warranty to four years.The prepaid service plan covers most all of your scheduled maintenance except for brake pad replacement and tires I think.It may not be available at all dealers though.
