Has anyone had this problem with a bike? I have a volt meter from Kuryakyn on it . It shows that it is charging correctly when it is dry out but after 10 mins. in the rain it shows it to be over charging. Dealer replaced the stator @ 7000 miles because it burned out. Does anyone have any advice on what I need to do?  

I have about the same mileage on my 06, and it completely died on me recently. I was just told today that my rectifier & stator were both burned out.  All together about a $900 repair (the stator itself about $500)...money I don't have.  Does that sound right to?
