I bought a Honda V65 Magna last summer and i couldnt be more happy with my purchase, the bike is in great condition, runs and rides smoothly. my rear tire seems to be wearing out alot faster than my front and i dont ride it hard or spin tire. could this have to do with air pressure in tires. i follow mfg specs.

I think that this is a normal thing to have happen. My bike has over 100,000 miles on it and I go through 2 or 3 rear tires before the front wears out. I think of it as the rear is laying the power down to the pavement and the front is along for the ride so the front tire has less friction on it.

I also bought an '84 Magna last July! I agree, it's a fast and fun machine! I noticed as well my rear tire seemed to wear down by late fall. No burnouts and I check the air pressure different times. Dunlap Qualifier. I'm thinking the shaft may cause the tire to wear down. Not sure otherwise but can't wait ot get back on it!
