Are there any recomended roads or freeways from Los Angeles to New york, i was thinking about taking a road trip to NY sometime this spring break!! How long would it take to get from point A to point B.

How about up 395 to Reno and then take 80 to Pennsylvania. It took me 56 hours to drive from New Hampshire to Reno about ten years ago. I only slept for 8 eight hours in DesMoines (included in the 56 hours). I wish I had more time in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah though.
That's a lot of riding in ten days or so.
