A good 20 mile twisty-turn journey starting from Fort Hunter Park along the Susquehanna River in Harrisburg, PA. PA RT 443 takes you through a valley of the Appalachian Mountains where you can instantly feel the temperature drop by 4 degrees as you enter the depression.
Along the way, experience at least 8 S-Turns as you move past the Harrisburg Country Club, Felicitia Resort and Spa, and later, the Fort Indiantown Gap training area for the Pennsylvania National Guard. The road finally releases you to I-81, for a quick journey home to wherever you may be going. Overall, a great year-round run. In the fall, be careful of the leaves, but witness a breathtaking view of the changing of the leaves in October. Watch out for the deer and bear. Have a great ride!

Hey skip...Have you tried Gold Mine road off of 443? great piece of road. If you are comming out of harrisburg you can run it up to 325 and run about as straight of a road as Pennsylvania could have for about 20 miles. But a great beauty for the scenery. Gold mine is about as curvy as 325 is straight..nice piece of riding thru there...Phil
