I bought a 07 in April. So far so good. 7200 miles and my only real complaint is the seat.

I also bought a nomad 07 in april and still loving it. I don't have as much miles as you (5000), but this is my first bike and Iam a little timid but willing to take the curves.

Yup!  I have an '03 Nomad with 15K miles.  I bought used 3 years ago and I have no regrets.  I moved up from a Yamaha Vstar 650 that I had for about 6 mos.  I knew that I would want a bigger bike, so the Nad was perfect for me.  It's my second bike and I've put 12k miles on it and loved every hair raising minute!

Peace & keep the shiny side up!!

I have a 2006 Vulcan 2000 Classic LT.  I am thinking of trading it for a Nomad.  Two reasons, the seat sucks, which I can fix with a Mustang Seat as I have in the past on other bikes, and it eats tires. 6000 miles on the stock Bridgestone, same on a Metzler ME880XXL. Does your Nomad still have the original tire?

Have an '05 Nomad and absolutely love it.  I tried to live with stock seats, but after 25k miles broke down and bought Mustang seats, which I have had on my last 3 bikes.  Can't beat the seats nor the bike!    LEW

Picked up a 1999 Volcan 1500 Nomad with 6000  miles last year and got a chance to put on 6500 miles this year. Love it, runs like a dream. Color Green and Platinum.

I have a 2004 Nomad. Got it in Oct 2005 with 1050 miles on it. I got about 13K on it now. Check out http://www.gadgetjq.com/gadgetsfixitpage.htm for anything and everything about this awesome machine.

Not a current Nomad owner but looking for a touring cruiser to replace my Yamaha FZ1. Just wondering why Kawasaki doesn't come out with a Nomad version of the Vulcan 2000. Those streamlined bags would certainly look better than the too small leather bags on the LT.

I have a black 07. Like you... I love the thing. In my opinion the best looking bike out there including any Harleys I've looked at. Not to mention much cheaper. I bought mine in April 07 and have accumulated approximately 8,000 miles so far! More than likely I'll have close to 10,000 before storing her for the season! I have vacation in October and wheather permitting I'll be in the saddle putting some miles on...

Bought my 07 last October with 3600 miles. Got 18k on it now. Bike already had Mustang seat, V/H baggers, risers, and too many other extras to list. Been very happy with it. I wanna post a pic when I get time cause its perdy!

I bought a 2004 Nomad 1500FI a couple months ago and am in love! It had 7,800 miles on it when I bought it, and I have put over 3,000 miles on it in the two months since. I have added a tour pack and a driver's back rest, as well as highway pegs, amoung other things, and I would put it up against any Harley touring bike in a long-haul as far as comfort and dependability. Needless to say, I am hooked on the "Nad" and am only considering trading it when the new Voyager comes out... I will definitely want to test drive one of those babies...
Peace,
