Does anybody know a good Kawasaki dealer in Florida that I can come and buy a Vulcan 2000 classic? Dealers near where I live (Tallahassee) do not have this bike available in store. Thanks.

My VN2000 has 17,500 miles on the clock and has been faultless for 4 years. Fuel consumption is 40 to 45 mpg solo and 45 to48 mpg two up (nagging keeps the throttle steady!)with tyres lasting 4000 miles rear, 6000 miles front.I had new front brake pads fitted at 14000 miles but no other parts have worn out yet. This bike still scares me rigid when I'm riding like a lunatic and shames quite a few sportsbikes off the line. Now what I want to know is does anybody do a rear wheel for a 240 section rear tyre either here in the UK or shipped from USA?

Hey guys- Check out www.kawasakimotorcycle.org . It's a VERY complete forum site sponsored by a Kawa dealer, and it's divided into different styles and models of bikes, though all users are welcome in all forums. There you'll find a LOAD of V2K owner/operators! Enjoy! Mark

I bought my new Vulcan 2000 L.T. last Saturday. WOW !!! What a fantastic bike. My wife loves it as much as I do. She is busy planning trips for us to take. The power is awesome and it handles great. And what a smooth ride. I calculated out its mpg for its first tank full of gas and it got 44 mpg. I think this is great for such a huge bike carrying me and my wife and lots of stop and go riding. When fueling up my new Vulcan some guy came over checked it out and said what a great looking bike it is. When polishing it in the driveway a neighbor also told me what a beautiful bike it is. Its red and black. I took the wind shield off and like it a lot better, the way it looks and the ride. Anyway, This FORUM sure helped me decide on the Vulcan 2000 L.T. Thanks guys. I am super happy with mine, Amigosaki3.

Hey ! Where is every body at ? Can anyone give me some info on K&N air filters for the Vulcan 2000 ? Is it worth the investment ? Does it help with gas mileage ? Thanks for any info, Amigosaki3.

I do own one since last December, lots of power, ride is not bad, does 46 miles to the gallon just back from a 2000 miles ride to Carlisle PA all great. Con not a popular bike gadgetry not found with most seller, you have to go to your dealer for Kawasaki stuff, If you take the limited the windshield is a little short. Claude

I own a '05 VN2000, I've got 28750 miles on it and love every mile. I changed the exhaust to Vance & Hines Power Shot and put in a Power Commander to enhance the power curve. Not that it needed it, but what the heck. The only complaints I have is the seat isn't very comfortable after a couple of hours, and the back tire doesn't last as long as I thought it should. Part of the tire wear is my fault, it's very hard to resist that right wrist twist. As far as reliability, I have never had any problems, always started right away. If you are even thinking about the 2000, get it, that "occasional road trip" will turn into a fun addiction.
