Does anyone know if there are any accident studies that compare single headlight bikes vs dual (side by side) headlights?  I would think this could be the case in night accidents where someone turns in front of a motorcycle.

Think about it.  You are in a car.  You see two lights coming at you and they look close together. Your brain interprets it as a car (two lights) and also that it must be far away (the lights are close together like a car way off in the distance).  You therefore think you have more time to turn and pull right in front of the motorcycle and bam.

Maybe if motorcyles have two headlights they should be stacked instead of side by side??
