Vietnam is among the most fascinating destinations for motorcycle touring in Asia. Stunning mountain landscapes and authentic hill tribes are the most special things you can imagine about this type of adventure.

Russian Minsks have been doing a great job due to limited of large displacement bikes and limit of 175cc. With the removal of this limit as of July 2007, Vietnam officially allows import of large displacement bikes. Cost is a major concern as the government charges 90% import tax and 10% VAT plus registration fees which at the end makes a bike more than twice its original value. By using good second hand bikes, Offroad Vietnam offers tours on Honda real road GL Pro 160cc or Honda motocross XL 125cc. These are the best option in North Vietnam at the moment.
Take a look at what customers said about our tours and the bikes at http://www.offroadvietnam.com/eng/22-65.php and photos at http://www.offroadvietnam.com/eng/10-37.php and decide for yourselves if your next destination is North Vietnam.

I just came back from a wicked ride in the Mountains in the North of Vietnam, in Ha Giang province. It was amazing!
I was going to introduce that place to this forum and I was pleasantly surprised to see somebody already cruised overthere.
At first, I was a bit sceptical of that 125cc Minsk bike, but by the end of the trip, wow I was impressed. A damn fine little bike! And it really brings you to the most amazing places!
I took a ride with a youg Canadian now living in Vietnam. His name is Yann and his company is Indochina-Land

I don't know about Offroad Vietnam, but that guy is really amazing. Check it out.
And those mountains in Vietnam, HELL YEAH!
Forget the paved roads, kick some butt in vicious dirtroads!
