I recently purchased the new Kawasaki 900 Vulcan from a dealer in the USA (who are a terrible post sales support location) and need to find accessories for the bike. Now from what I understand with new bikes, accessories are difficult to get for the first 12 months!!

Is there anywhere in BC, that you know of where I can order bags, mountings, backrest/sissy-bar etc and have a realistic delivery/ETA, unlike the 4 months it seems to be taking the sture in the USA to source??

I had the same situation when I bought my M/S in early 02. I could not find anything specifically for the bike for several months. It's the same for any bike or even quads for that matter. The accessory mfgrs. naturally want to wait until there is an obvious demand for an item before investing their resources in a new product. It's one of the irritations you will have to deal with when buying any new model bike, car, or etc.
Also, as far as dealers are concerned, they are probably the last to know or stock any new accessories for your bike! The accessory shops and web sites are going to be the best bet.  

I saw some stuff for the 900 at my dealer (Calif) when I was there last week...
